■ Installing the SIM card and the battery

Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small children.
The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending, so
be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card.
Before installing the SIM card, always make sure that the phone is switched off
and disconnected from any enhancement and then remove the battery.
1. To remove the back cover:
Push the back cover release button (1)
towards the top of the phone and lift the
cover from the phone (2).
2. Remove the battery by lifting it from the finger grip
(3).
3. To release the SIM card holder, slide the card holder backwards (4) and open it
by lifting (5).

Insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder (6) so that the card’s bevelled
corner points to the camera lens. Make sure that the card’s golden contact
area is facing downwards and that the card is properly in place.
4. Close the SIM card holder (7) and slide it forwards to lock it (8).
5. Replace the battery (9).

6. To replace the back cover:
Place the top of the back cover over the top of
the phone (10). Press the bottom of the back
cover towards the phone until the cover is
locked into place (11).
