Writing and sending an e-mail message
Before you can send e-mail messages via SMS, you need to save the required
settings, for example
Messages sent via
and
E-mail server
. See
Message settings

for details.
For availability and subscription to the e-mail service, contact your network
operator or service provider. To save an e-mail address in the phone book, see

1. Press
Menu
, and select
Messages
,
Text messages
and
Create SMS e-mail
.
2. Key in the recipient’s e-mail address or search for it in the contacts list and
press
OK
.
3. If you wish, key in the subject for the message and press
OK
.

4. Key in the e-mail message.
5. To send the message, press
Options
, select
Send e-mail
and press
OK
.
Note: When sending e-mail messages via the SMS network service, your phone
may display the words
Message sent
. This is an indication that the e-mail has been
sent by your phone to the e-mail server. This is not an indication that the e-mail
has been received at the intended destination. For more details about e-mail
services, check with your service provider.
